Meghan’s Take-the-Cake Marshmallow Smiles
There sure are a lot of marshmallows in Meghan Rose Takes the Cake! That’s why I think you’ll like my yummy-tummy recipes! Give a MARSHMALLOW smile--God loves you! You need:
A plastic knife
A LARGE handful of mini-marshmallows
Smooth peanut butter (but chunky will work too)
An apple cut into wedges(I like using red apples because they are the color of lips. If you are a lizard, you might want to use a green apple instead.)
- First, use the knife to spread peanut butter onto one side of each apple wedge.
- Then stick the marshmallows into the peanut butter. Make sure you place the marshmallows in rows like teeth.
- If you want to add braces, you could squeeze chocolate syrup or skinny frosting in a line over the marshmallow teeth. Of course, don’t add braces if you are a lizard. Lizards don’t wear braces, silly!
- Eat up! Yum!
Meghan’s Topping-Popping Marshmallow Treats
With such a fun name, how can you go wrong? You need:
A bag of LARGE marshmallows
Frosting (slightly warm or softened)
Cookie sprinkles
Two bowls
Toothpicks
- Put the frosting into one bowl and some sprinkles into the other bowl.
- Stick a toothpick into a marshmallow so it looks like a sucker. (Or like a stick man without arms or legs.)
- Hold the toothpick and swipe the other end of the marshmallow through the frosting. (When I do that with my finger, I get in trouble. But using a marshmallow is okay, apparently.)
- Now dip the frosted end into the sprinkles. TADA! Your Topping-Popping Marshmallow Treat is ready to eat.
