Ant antennae (Be an ant…AND go onstage!)

You need:
A stiff headband, any color
Two pipe cleaners
Two large sized colored pom-poms

Directions:

1. Fold one pipe cleaner in half. Slip one pom-pom in the center of the pipe cleaner where the fold is located.
2. Twist the pipe cleaner around the pom-pom, and then keep twisting the pipe cleaner halves together. It will look a little bit like a candy cane!
3. Twist the end of the pipe cleaner around the headband, just off the center.
4. Fluff up the pom-pom so it covers the top end of the pipe cleaner.
5. Repeat directions 1-4 with the other pipe cleaner and pom-pom.
6. TA DA! If you want to look extra crazy, try bending the antennae a little!

A New Kind of ANTS ON A LOG recipe

You need:
A plastic knife
A banana
Smooth peanut butter
Chocolate chips

Directions:

1. With a plastic knife, spread smooth peanut butter on one side of the banana.
2. Push several chocolate chips into the peanut butter. (Those are supposed to be the ants, even though they don’t even have any legs!)
3. Eat!
